The GSpeed GT steering wheel is based on the popular OMP 310 ALU GT steering wheel. 

This steering wheel is popular due to its lightweight and strength. The cut-out on the top allows full visibility of the driver's display, while the flat bottom maximizes leg room.

Inside the wheel is an analog to CAN converter that enables the steering wheel to communicate with any CAN Bus enabled device in the car. Including but not limited to ECU, PDM and Display loggers.

The CAN converter transmits any function of the steering wheel through a CAN stream with a user defined protocol.

The steering wheel has enough inputs to control virtually any aspect of your car during normal operation without having to remove your hands from the steering wheel.

This has been used with great success in our WRL program, withstanding hundreds of hours of abuse.
